In many parts of Costa Rica, a person with a mobility disability can wait years for a wheelchair — if one comes at all. Each year this ministry imports hundreds of donated chairs, restores them at the warehouse, and custom-fits every single one to the person who will live in it. Your gift is what keeps that whole journey moving: the warehouse, the workbenches, the trailer, the volunteers, and finally the moment someone rolls out their own front door for the first time in years.

Every chair passes through the warehouse in Costa Rica — it's where donated wheelchairs are received, stored, and prepared. The building needs repairs to stay dry, secure, and safe for the volunteers (and the hundreds of chairs) inside it. No warehouse, no ministry.
Custom-fitting hundreds of chairs a year takes an organized workshop. Proper shelving and work benches let volunteers sort incoming chairs, assess what each one needs, and do the careful fitting work that makes a chair truly belong to its new owner.
Wheelchairs only change lives once they leave the warehouse. A 20-foot covered trailer hauls dozens of chairs at a time to distribution days across Costa Rica — protected from the rain, and able to reach the remote communities where the need is greatest.
